Adults learn differently than kids. When we are kids we absorb information, and since we have little experience with the world, we need a lot of guidance and supervision. As adults, we need so much more: we need to be able to connect our past experiences to the new ones, we need autonomy to problem solve, we need the ability to process and take time away from learning to absorb and solidify the information in our minds, we need the information to be relevant and timely - and the list goes on.
